The Aria SB-1000 RI is definitely among the most famous basses Aria makes. Developed in response to players' requests for an SB bass with a lighter body, this 4-string captures the classic SB style and feel by using a maple neck-through design, and an active EQ and preamp. The Aria SB-1000's natural gloss finish provides beautiful see-thorough colors, and the SB eye-position markers make this bass an unmistakable jewel in the SB family. In the early 1980s, the original Aria SB-1000 bass swept the world with its striking looks and amazing tone. Now the reissued SB-1000 RI has established an outstanding reputation as a modern classic. Back by popular demand, this electric bass guitar is fitted with the original B.B. circuit allowing you to punch through the rest of the band and make sure you are heard.

Neck-through body 
The original neck-through body is made by expert craftsmen using traditional guitar-building techniques. The Heel-less cutaway allows smooth and easy access to even the highest frets.

B.B. circuit 
Many of the world's most famous players used SB and in particular they loved Aria's original B.B. circuit. The active electronics have an incredibly low noise level, which makes a perfect match for the pickup's clear, pure tone.
