1971 Ampeg Dan Armstrong Lucite Guitar Last One Built!

A legend of the guitar building world - this wacky creation from the late 60’s brought interest from both players and collectors alike. The quickly removable pickup was actually quite brilliant and ahead of its time, and the translucent Lucite body was unmistakable on stage or hanging on the wall. 

The most unique thing about this guitar is it’s Serial Number: A2850D - this is the last guitar Ampeg built!! (see http://www.daregistry.org/faq---guitar-total.html for more info).

Includes case, we do not know if it is original to the guitar or not. Does not include any extra pickups. Has been setup and gone through by our in-house tech and plays and sounds great! Mild scratching overall of the Lucite body, nothing major. Missing one of the bottom strap buttons. There is a small crack at the high E string tuning machine.
