Cosmetic Condition: Bass is in very good condition and has some signs of wear from years of use. There are a few spots on the bass where there are lighter spots in the finish from wear/belt scratching as well as general hardware oxidation. There are also some various dings along the side of the bass that can be seen in our listing photos.

Tech Notes: Bass really plays great, nice and low up and down the board. Easy touch or dig and it really responds. The bass is setup with flat wound strings on it. We were experiencing issues with a volume drop when we rolled down the tones. We attributed this to the 50's style wiring. We rewired the tone pot as "modern" wiring and replaced both caps to spec using quality Mouser film caps, to spec values. This issue was resolved. We also replaced the jack as it was a bit scratchy. A little bit of fretboard wear, nothing uncommon for the year and it doesn't affect tone or sound. Really wonderful bass!
